DrillCone - In and out sync
This DrillCone drill is used to explore the hand synch and dissassociate them. Drill 1 - 3 Count. Two dribbles in front of body and on third dribble and Tap the cone on the floor. Drill 2 - 3 count. Three dribbles in front of body and while ball is floating in the hand tap the cone to the floor. Both left and right part of the brain engaged and you need to disassociate hands. You work on getting shoulder down while still controlling dribble (as you were attacking the hip of the defender). KPI: let the elbow of your dribbling hand move freely to the side. Hips level (a lot of players want to drop hips when perform cone tap, but that is not a movement used when attacking in basketball).
